„Egyptian security forces claimed on Sunday that they foiled an attempt to smuggle 700 kilograms of explosives into the Gaza Strip through a tunnel.
Sources in the Egyptian security said that the forces, acting on intelligence, found 500 kilograms of explosives in nine packages in an abandoned house about 100 meters from the Gaza border. The same sources claimed that during a raid on the house, smugglers fled the scene.
