Nachdem mittlerweile zwei Schiffe, die von ihren natürlich unwissenden deutschen Eigentümern vermietet worden waren, um im iranischen Auftrag ein über die Islamische Republik verhängtes UN-Waffen-Embargo zu brechen, aufgebracht werden konnten, bleibt das offizielle Deutschland weiterhin vorbildlich unschuldig:

When questioned if the transport of Iranian weapons aboard a German vessel destined for Israel’s enemies contradicts Chancellor Merkel’s pro-Israel speech in the US Congress on Tuesday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman wrote, ‚No. Germany is actively engaged that the United Nation sanctions are thoroughly implemented.'“
