Die „NGO“ Amnesty International bleibt im neuen Jahr sich treu. Auch in ihrem neuesten „Briefing“ Suffocating: The Gaza Strip under Israeli Blockade widmen sich die „Menschenrechtsaktivisten“ dem vermeintlichen Leid der „Palästinenser“, die, so sieht es die „NGO“, von der internationalen Gemeinschaft allgemein und Israel speziell völlig grundlos mit „Blockade“ und Krieg bestraft werden dafür, daß sie 2006 der Hamas einen „Wahlsieg“ bescherten, von dem die Terroristenbande selbst freilich so überzeugt war, daß sie ein Jahr später in Gaza sich mordend an die Macht putschte – Amnesty nennt es „Übernahme der Macht“.
Was man laut Amnesty International über Gaza wissen mußdarf:

Hamas wins the Palestinian Authority (PA) parliamentary elections; the international community imposes an embargo on the PA and suspends development projects in the West Bank and Gaza.June 2007
Hamas takes control in Gaza. An Israeli blockade restricting the entry of food, fuel, and other basic goods into Gaza begins. Movement of medical cases in and out of the area is restricted and delayed. Gazan families are not allowed to visit relatives in Israeli jails. Egypt closes the Rafah crossing to daily use, opening it intermittently to allow some occasional movement. By October 2008, only about one third of the trucks of aid and imports that were allowed to enter Gaza in May 2007 are being allowed through.27 December 2008
Israel launches a major military offensive – Operation ‚Cast Lead‘ – in Gaza, and prevents the media and aid agencies from entering the area. In the following three weeks, the Israeli military kills at least 1,383 Palestinians, including 333 children. Thirteen Israelis are killed, including three civilians killed in southern Israel in rocket attacks by Palestinian armed groups.“
„Bruderkrieg“ in Gaza? Gab es nicht. Gewaltsame Entführung des israelischen Soldaten Gilad Shalit? Fand nicht statt. Tausende Angriffe auf Israel mit immer reichweitenstärkeren Raketen? Silvesterböllerei. Waffenschmuggel durch die Hamas und ihre Unterstützer? Was sollen sie denn auch sonst schmuggeln? Etwa Mineralwasser? Kann man damit Juden umbringen oder wenigstens aus Gaza vertreiben? Baumaterial? Kann damit Israel beschossen werden? Braucht das jemand?
Nachtrag: Wenn Amnesty International jammert, freut die Hamas sich über diese Unterstützung, größer indes ist ihre Freude über ganz andere Hilfe:
„Member of Hamas‘ parliamentary bloc, Khalil Al-Haya said that the movement is receiving fianacial, political and moral support from Iran, ‚without paying any political price,‘ and welcomed every Islamic and Arab relation that would support the Palestinians and their resistance, he said on Sunday.“
Solche Prioritäten findet die „NGO“ nicht kritikwürdig.
